Corfu, a wonderful place for summer holidays

Arguing that Corfu is one of the most beautiful places maybe would sound as an arrogant argument. But isn’t exaggeration to say that Corfu is one of the places with a high variety of natural environment offering many choices fulfilling many different demands of a visitor.
Corfu Island, which is one of the greenest areas in Greece, offers many choices and alternatives for relaxing and activity holidays.

    North West Corfu

Paleokastritsa – Lakones- Agelokastro - Liapades

Little to say many to see! Paleokastritsa is one of the most beautiful places in Corfu. No mater where exactly you live in the island, a visit to Paleokastritsa  is a must. It can be combined with a visit to Agelokastro, a Byzantine little castle
overlooking the sea. Also a visit to the picturesque village of Liapades and a swimming experience in one of Liapades beaches such as Rovinia or Liapades beach will be an unforgettable experience

    Afionas – Porto Timoni

Afionas is a little village on north west Corfu above the marvelous area of Agios Georgios bay and the unique beach of Porto Timoni

Sidari – Canal D’ Amour – Logas beach

Sidari itslself is a busy tourist resort, but a visit to Canal D Amour is worth to! Maybe the nicest sunset from the most west point of Corfu. Logas beach is a wonderful place to swim.

    Tip!
Visiting Sidari in the evening you can have a unique dinner experience in a hidden spot 2 kmts from Sidari with the strange name To Aloni tou Soukiou. Wonderful Stella cooks everything by herself with stuff from her garden!

    North, north east Corfu

    Kassiopi

Kassiopi is  (was…) a traditional fishing village with a beautiful little port and many choices for dinner and drinks. Also a byzantine castle and nice beaches around.

    Agios Stefanos –Kerasia

    Nice beaches on north-east Corfu.
    Tip!
In Agios Stefanos you can rent a boat (even without a license for small, low poer boats) to explore the amazing east coast of the island.

    Palea (Old) Perithia

A medieval mountainous village in north Corfu, maximum 30 minutes drive from the most beaches of the area. A visit to Old Perithia can be combined with swimming during the day in one of the beaches, an evening walk in the afternoon in the village and of course a dinner in one of the tavernas with delicious Corfiot tastes.

    Pantokrator Mountain

The highest point of the island. The top with the little monastery as destination is a very good reason to enjoy the peaceful route through the quiet streets and enjoy the amazing view of the whole island and Albanian coasts.
